Where and When

We skate on Saturday mornings from 8:15-9:45 a.m. at the Hatfield Ice Arena. This is a club practice and newcomers are welcome. If skaters do not have experience, it is strongly recommended they start with the Learn to Speedskate sessions held on Thursday nights from 6:10-7:20 p.m. before attending club practices. Check the schedule for up-to-date practice times. Arrive half an hour early to get dressed and help with mats.

What To Bring

Speed skates are available to borrow. You must bring a helmet (bike helmets are okay), soft knee pads (volleyball-style recommended), gloves, long sleeves and long pants. Shin guards, a neck guard and a bottle of water are also recommended!

Cost and Membership

The cost of speedskating is determined by several factors, including club fees, ice time and coaching fees. All of our current 2016-2017 fees are outlined on our club member application. If you are brand new to Speedskating check out our Learn to Skate classes.

Members must join US Speedskating (must be done online!) and submit an East Penn membership application form
