East Penn will collecting orders for skin suits from PyroApparel. Please review the suit design [pdf] and sizing chart [pdf]. The standard suit is $100, and the "Elite-full" suit is $195.
The "Elite-full" suit has cut resistant material (Spectra) built into the suit for added protection from the sharp blades. It is not mandatory, but it is highly recommended, as hospital bills easily exceed $95. (For reference, the suits that East Pen skaters currently wear were $400, so this is an opportunity!)
Skin suits not only make you look like a superhero, but they will help you go faster, and they will help us tweak your technique. They also come with built-in shin and knee pads... no more “I forgot to put on my knee pads!” after putting on skates.
