What's the difference between Learn to Speed Skate and the team practice sessions?
Learn to Speed Skate classes include skate rentals, and you only need a $10/year US Figure Skating membership for insurance purposes. During classes, we break into ability-based groups, and work on lots of technical skills. We usually skate some laps at the end.
Our team practice sessions require US Speedskating and East Penn memberships, and skate rentals cost extra. During practice sessions, we skate lots of laps, focusing on both technical and endurance work.
